Deuteronomy 12:3-5
Modern English Version

3 And you shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their Asherah poles[a] with fire, and you shall cut down the engraved images of their gods, and eliminate their names out of that place.

4 You shall not act this way toward the Lord your God. 5 But you must seek only the place which the Lord your God shall choose out of all your tribes to establish His name, and there you must go.
